For those of you who don’t know yet – I have become a die hard fan of ANIME / MANGA art !! Thanks to Rash’s sketches 🙂 I tried my hand @ it..and I think I do just good.There’s definite room for improvement and here are a few personal favourites.I sketched loads of these for friends as a farewell token and have uploaded some of ’em in my online ART album.Do take a look and post comments. 😀
The Best thing about anime art(personally ofcourse) is the way the eyes express emotions..Wooww ! Thats it for now.Will be posting more later. For more pix ,click below :

Woha! My artwork actually inspired someone to get addicted to manga! Wow! 😀
The first one was my favorite! Really superb! Oh & I love the hair flowing in the last one.. One of my favorite way to sketch hair! 🙂
One suggestion: Try first roughly composing your sketch (make a circle for head, ovals for body/hands etc.) and then start detailing. Will help get the shapes/anatomy right!
Btw if you do get time, drop by Online Manga Uni for a huge collection of Manga related resources (Amazing tuts!). Oh & if you want to work more on anatomy & basic figure drawing, head to Polykarbon Tuts. Ofcourse nothing beats DeviantArt, you can keep browsing it for YEARS! 😀

Not surprisingly – my favorite is #1 too… the eyes have come out real good in ’em.. And then.. #10,#11 in the album.
& #6 in the blog,I’d give it the title : Long hair + Wind = Blissful sitch. 😛 & #3 here,Chineese anime is the first ever anime sketch i made 😀
